On Netflix on November 23, the series “Wednesday” started. It should probably be recalled that this is the name of the girl of the Addams family: gloomy as night, a teenager with a heavy look, a craving for death and love for Edgar Allan Poe. Thirty years ago, in two Barry Sonnenfeld films about the Addams, she was played by the then very young Christina Ricci (and gained immortal fame as the idol of the then teenagers). According to the plot, the main character, after whom the series is named, goes to study at the academy for “outcasts” with the unusual abilities of Nevermore. There she will develop psychic abilities, stop a local serial killer and uncover the secret of her parents.
